Resources for Autism is a specialist autism charity. We provide services for autistic children, young people and adults as well as parents and carers of autistic people, we also provide training and workshops for professionals. If you’re autistic or know someone who is and looking for support or want to learn more about autism we want to help you!

We have different services available in different areas. Before completing a referral form or calling us please take note of where we work and what we do. If you live in one of our listed areas, take a moment to explore the information and breakdown provided—then let’s talk about how we can help. If you do not live in any of the areas listed, unfortunately we will not be able to help you and would therefore recommend you search for autism charities/ support in your local area.

Service Summary

Our building on the Finchley Road is the Children and Families autism hub for the borough providing ‘one stop shop’ information, as well as services for autistic children, young people and parents and carers. Those include information and advise, workshops and social opportunities.

In addition to this, we offer term time social and skills building groups and holidays activities for children,  young people and adults with various level of support needs.

We provide social and skill building groups for autistic adults, specialist counselling services

We run an all-age autism hub which provides services for autistic children and young people, autistic adults and parents and carers. We also provide specific training to professionals.

We offer holiday play scheme (SB funding or self funded) for autistic children and young people with all levels of needs.

Our Southwark offer included:

Holiday and weekend Short break groups for autistic children and young people aged 11-18.

Social and skill building groups and 1:1 mentoring for autistic people aged 16-25.

We also provide specific training to professionals.

We deliver short break services for autistic children and young people aged 5-18 with level of support needs.

Social opportunities for autistic adults.

Workshops and coffee mornings for parents/carers.

We offer short break services for autistic children and young people with all level of needs, during weekends and school holidays.  

We are delivering a short term bespoke project supporting autistic adults and parents and carers of autistic children and adults.

Social group (AuStruck) for autistic adults with low support needs, can be accessed by those residing within and/or outside of the borough.
